Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer with expertise in Material Flow to join our Center of Excellence (CoE). This role plays a critical part in advancing manufacturing efficiency, validating material flow strategies, and developing best practices to be scaled across the enterprise. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in simulation tools, data analysis, and industrial engineering principles to support innovation and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead material flow simulations to evaluate line-side delivery, warehouse logistics, and automated material handling solutions
- Develop and validate discrete-event simulation models to optimize labor, equipment, and space utilization
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure scalability and sustainability of material flow strategies
- Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and ergonomic assessments to identify improvement opportunities
- Create and maintain standard processes, metrics, and best practices for deployment across multiple facilities
- Provide technical guidance on the integration of automation (AGVs/AMRs, conveyors, robotics) into plant operations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 practices
What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering or material simulation within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, PFEP (Plan for Every Part), and material flow optimization
- Proven ability to analyze data, develop insights, and present recommendations to leadership
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and digital twin applications
- Prior experience working in a Center of Excellence or global standards role
