Production Designer

As a Production Designer, you’ll be a key member of our marketing team, supporting the creation of high-quality materials for both external and internal customers. Through the production of print collateral, digital assets, and polished presentations, you'll help maintain the visual "voice" for this fast-growth healthcare startup. Your design contributions will strengthen every touchpoint of the commercialization lifecycle, from generating potential prospects at conferences, to signing new customers, to engaging new patients—all with the goal of raising the standard of healthcare for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide marketing design support across multiple mediums on a variety of projects, from small pieces to multi-channel campaigns
• Provide print and screen-ready artwork; oversee production of print material when necessary
• Prioritize multiple projects and deliver high-quality production design files on-time, often under tight deadlines
• Provide production support for a full range of brand collateral, including: sell sheets, white papers, brochures, PPT presentations, email marketing, and social media campaignsWork independently to create new files, based on an established look and feel
• Create ready-to-launch final artwork by assuming designed files and pre-flighting for pixel-perfect delivery
• Maintain responsibility for projects from creative hand-off through final delivery. This includes: request for retouched photography, conversion and finalization of various design file types, clean-up and organization of design files, kerning type, replacing photography and logo lock-ups, etc.
• Attend regular brand design meetings and contribute to ongoing development and refinement of the Included Health brand
• Continually manage and work to improve the quality of department processes and deliverables

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience; BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field
• 3-5+ years of agency or in-house experience as a production designer
• Proficiency in print and digital design, with an exacting eye for detail
• Contribute to our marketing team culture through a commitment to: service, a planful and communicative approach, lifelong learning, and building positive and productive relationships across the department and company
• Enjoy the production process and takes pride in getting the details right
• Comfortable working within an existing brand universe, one with an accessible, empathetic voice, but who also has the ability and desire to suggest and execute new ideas
• Actively participates in the creative process by asking questions and voicing opinions
• Self-directed, and can work effectively work both autonomously and in collaboration with others
• Extremely detailed-oriented and precise, and can spot a typo or stray pixel a mile away
• Sense of urgency, sense of ownership, and a sense of humor
• Deep understanding of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Google Slides
• Portfolio needs to include a range of digital/social, print, and ideally event or trade show applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
• Bonus points for video/motion graphics capabilities
