<h1>Senior Project Development Manager</h1><p><strong>Department: </strong>Azure</p><p><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Full Time</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Dublin</p><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>€70,000 / year</p><br/><h3>Description</h3>We are currently recruiting a Senior Project Development Manager to join the Azure Team and lead on our Azure Cloud Infrastructure &amp; Security, and Data &amp; AI projects.<br/><br/> As an experienced and seasoned Senior Project Development Manager, you’ll work with us and the wider Codec team, and our customers closely. This role is a hybrid role, meaning the location of the work will be a combination of remote working, onsite with the client and working from the Codec office.<br/><br/> The Senior Project Development Manager is responsible for leading Azure Cloud Infrastructure &amp; Security projects and our Data &amp; AI project development phases, delivery of investigations, detailed scoping, concept design, stakeholder to ensure high quality and effective delivery of projects. <br/><br/>  <br/><br/> <br/><br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <strong>Key responsibilities:<br/></strong><br/> <ul> <li>Manage large and more complex infrastructure projects and be responsible for multiple projects with several customers in parallel.</li> <li>Develop and implement Customer engagement plans to ensure effective stakeholder consultation in the development phase of projects</li> <li>Maintain project data, planning and forecasting in Codec’s PM tool Projector.</li> <li>Manage all aspects of the projects from pre-sales through implementation and handover to operational support.</li> <li>Provide a single point of accountability as the primary point of contact for the projects.</li> <li>Deliver regular project monitoring and reporting progress to the Azure Head of Operations Manager and ensure that projects are implemented to agreed time, cost and quality and are consistent with the Customer requirements </li> <li>Identify and manage inter-dependencies with other projects.</li> <li>Work with the internal Codec Governance structures, including the Resource Management Office (RMO) and Senior Leadership Team in addressing client engagement considerations in a respectful and timely manner, and ensuring that the organisation maintains a positive image and provides high-quality services</li> </ul>·       Be accountable for the delivery of assigned work, quality, integrity and validity of the services provided. <br/><br/> <ul> <li>Formulate and update project plans and maintain project schedules.</li> <li>Identify, document and manage project risks, assumptions, issues &amp; dependencies (RAID) implementing mitigating actions to address same.</li> <li>Report project progress in line with organisation policies and procedures.</li> <li>Estimate project costs as required.</li> <li>Achieve all project quality gates.</li> <li>Manage project milestones and deliverables.</li> <li>Manage project resources.</li> </ul><br/><br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3> <strong>Required Experience:<br/></strong><br/> <ul> <li>5+ years' experience in a similar role as a Senior Project Development Manager</li> <li>Project management qualification – Prince2 Practitioner/PMP.</li> <li>Experience working in large enterprise organisations, delivering infrastructure projects, preferably within the IT industry.</li> <li>Experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure &amp; Security projects or Data &amp; AI projects is essential.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects to agreed scope, budget and schedule.</li> <li>Management of cross-functional project teams.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Project</li> <li>Experience operating in an agile, waterfall and Hybrid project management style.</li> <li>Experience using Projector, or other Professional Services automation tools, is preferred but not essential.</li> </ul> <br/><br/> <strong>Required Skills:<br/> <br/><br/></strong><br/> <ul> <li>Results driven.</li> <li>Expert in planning and ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.</li> <li>Great customer care and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.</li> </ul> <br/><br/>  <br/><br/> <strong>About Codec<br/></strong><br/> Founded in Dublin in 1985, Codec was from the outset a company which sought to bring efficiency and transformation through best use of technology.
