POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facility Maintenance Team Member will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and health of the venue grounds and greenery. This includes performing various tasks to ensure the green area in and around the venue are in top condition for all guests, including mowing, trimming, irrigation, landscaping, and minor repairs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Operate various types of mowing equipment to maintain all greenery and green areas
• Perform routine trimming around trees, walkways, and other areas
• Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of the irrigation system to ensure proper watering of all areas
• Plant, trim, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers around the venue and venue facilities
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of groundskeeping equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely
• Apply pesticides and herbicides as needed, following all safety protocols and regulations
• Assist with leaf cleanup and other seasonal tasks as required
• Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed
• Clean all floor surfaces and glass in facility
• Clean, restock, and maintain all bathrooms: toilets, sinks, floors, etc.
• Clean all guest seating and lobby area
• Facility trash removal
• Assist other departments as necessary
• Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
• Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests with answers and directions as needed
• Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events
• Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate Manager to resolve

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
• Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
• Must work well with others
• Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility

• Have sports experience or an interest to learn
