Base Pay Range: $65,735-$92,741

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Production Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Connectivity Business Unit by ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our connectivity products. This position is responsible for managing production schedules, coordinating resources, and monitoring production processes to meet deadlines and quality standards, contributing to the success of the Connectivity Business Unit. The Manufacturing Production Specialist works closely with production, engineering, quality, and purchasing, to ensure communication and problem-solving to optimize production efficiency and minimize disruptions. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to effectively manage multi-site production and make data driven decisions and implement accordingly.  This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully onsite position at our Plymouth, HQ Campus.

This position reports to the Senior Director Connectivity Programs.   

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and maintain production location, schedules, prioritize work orders, and coordinate the flow of materials and resources to meet production targets.
  • Develop metrics and dashboard to make data driven decisions and implement in production decisions.
  • Process Monitoring and Improvement: Track production progress, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Resource Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage material flow, and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and personnel to support production activities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication between different departments, address production-related issues, and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Data Management: Record and track production activities, enter and validate data related to material requirements and production planning metrics, and reconcile material usage transactions.

Required

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning or production coordination.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production control, scheduling, or operations coordination.
