Your Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, Production for the John Deere Construction & Forestry Fabrication division located in Davenport, IA, you will:
- Lead a production team to execute safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals through Continuous Improvement (CI) plans and activities
- Communicate job expectations; facilitate training and certification requirements; coaching and setting high standards on performance
- Elevate our safety culture through effective communications, leading by example, driving engagement in proactive risk identification and a focus on implementing thorough safety corrective actions

- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions
- Troubleshoot and diagnose highly complex equipment and systems
- Ability to work variable shifts including off-shifts, weekends, and OT as business needs
What Makes You Standout
- Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) processes, lean manufacturing, and 5S.
- Experience with wage/union employee policies, practices, procedures, Continuous Improvement Pay Plan (CIPP) administration, and work rule
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent related work experience
