Are you a motivated individual with a passion for servicing, repairing, and maintaining all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)?Swissport is seeking talented technicians like you to ensure the smooth operation of our essential ground and air cargo services worldwide.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various GSE and HGVs.
• Upload inspection findings and job details into Swissport’s fleet management system.
• Respond to out-of-hours service requests when needed.

 

What we are looking for:

• Time served Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent certification.
• Ideally suited for HGV or Plant technicians.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostics, and fault-finding skills.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and routine maintenance.
• Enthusiastic, flexible team player with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
• Welding skills preferred but not necessary.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Must have own tools.
• Willingness to travel for training or to assist other Swissport stations with GSE needs.
• Must be able to pass DBS security background checks.

Qualifications

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday – 08:00 – 16:00.
• On-Call pattern – Every 3rd week On-Call. €120 euros per week standby.
• €90 euros per call out.
• Overtime.

Licence/Certification:

• Full EU valid driving license
