This role can be based in Austin, TX, or Remote.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and managing the product lifecycle of high-performance modular hardware platforms and cooling systems designed for hyperscale, enterprise, and telecom data center customers. You will lead efforts in defining requirements, coordinating cross-functional execution, and driving innovation and competitiveness in our product portfolio. You will interface with internal engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, as well as external customers and partners.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Own the product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life for data center racks, building blocks (servers, storage nodes, etc.), and liquid cooling infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to define and develop product architectures that meet evolving customer and industry needs.

  • Lead the development of product roadmaps aligned with CEC’s business objectives and key market trends.

  • Translate customer feedback, market trends, and technology roadmaps into compelling product requirements.

  • Work closely with sales, business development, and marketing to position products effectively and support customer engagement strategies.

  • Perform market and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and threats.

  • Engage directly with hyperscale and cloud customers to gather insights and shape product strategies.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure manufacturability, cost optimization, and high-quality delivery.

  • Manage and monitor key product metrics such as adoption, revenue, gross margin, and customer satisfaction.

  • Support Flex’s sustainability goals by driving energy-efficient and thermally optimized product solutions.

The Experience We’re Looking to Add to Our Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management within the Data Center, High-Performance Computing (HPC), or Enterprise IT industry.

  • Deep understanding of rack-level integration, modular systems, and liquid or advanced thermal management technologies.

  • Proven track record in bringing hardware products from ideation through launch and sustaining.

  • Ability to synthesize technical details into customer value propositions and business impact.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across diverse global teams.

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to use data to support product decisions and trade-offs.

  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., OCP, ASHRAE) and regulatory environments related to data center infrastructure is a plus.

  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and building next-generation infrastructure solutions.

What you'll receive for the great work you provide:
