About the role

Role Summary

The Brand Stylist is responsible for supporting retail and online styling programs, serving as an expert in apparel and home outfitting at Anthropologie. The objective of this role is to deliver brand-directed styling projects and initiatives to drive selling, elevate the customer experience and enhance the quality of our styling programs.  

Role Responsibilities

  • Acts as a mentor and resource for Styling roles in the field  
  • Creates branded styling content for retail education purposes, including outfitting, room-building & service tutorials for any Anthropologie category 
  • Partners with the Sr. Stylists/Styling Managers to build program tools & strategies 
  • Collaborates with Brand Service & Selling team on additional training content needs  
  • Develops relationships with cross-functional partners and supports global brand strategy 
  • Attends & participates in cross-functional product, visual & marketing meetings at Home Office on a regular basis 
  • Communicates styling information & updates with the field and hosts calls/workshops as requested 
  • Shares stylist and customer feedback with appropriate partners & identifies solutions 
  • Supports Online Styling Team with customer requests & project completion 
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, workshop coordination, program tracking, organization & reporting 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Role Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic people-oriented individual who is passionate about the customer and demonstrates desire to help others grow and develop styling skills  
  • Deadline-driven, proactive, self-starter/motivated, and able to take initiative on projects   
  • Creative mindset with willingness to take risks, generate ideas and think outside the box 
  • Works well in a team environment and pitch in, manage multiple projects/deadlines, and be adaptive to change 
  • Must be comfortable participating in/delivering video & photo content 
  • Occasional travel required 
  • Experience working in personal styling and/or interior design 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Expert understanding in apparel & home styling principles 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Anthropologie customer and brand 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs 
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite programs & Canva
