Shift: Monday - Friday
 

Job Summary:

Are you a compassionate and skilled mental health professional looking to make an impact from the very first point of contact? Join our team as an Clinical Intake Specialist and play a crucial role in providing initial assessments and clinical evaluations for individuals of all ages seeking services.

You'll help establish treatment plans, provisional diagnoses, and connect individuals with the appropriate resources within our programs. This role may also include safety planning, brief therapy interventions, and the opportunity to supervise trainees (pending approval). This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and wants to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality behavioral healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive clinical assessments

  • Establish provisional diagnoses and individualized treatment plans

  • Provide referral recommendations and safety planning as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional guidelines

  • Collaborate with internal programs and community resources

  • Participate in departmental meetings, peer reviews, and development activities

  • Deliver brief therapy sessions and crisis intervention when appropriate

  • Represent the organization through public education and mental health awareness efforts

  • Support management through data collection and program evaluation tasks

  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned by leadership
     

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required

  • Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health preferred

  • Experience conducting assessments across age groups is a plus
     

Required License/Certification (one of the following):

  • Licensure in the state of practice required: LP, PLP, LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or PLMFT
     

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
