We are looking for a new student employee to join our team! In this role, the student will conduct time observations and data analytics using various languages (Visual Studio, VBA, Python), as well as provide capacity & demand analyses and assist with Lean implementation/waste reduction. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June- December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Learns about planning the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings. 

  • Assist in planning the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment. 

  • Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems. 

  • May help in conducting studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. 

  • May assist facilities engineers (planning and design of facilities) and materials logistics (packaging design).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
