Huron is seeking financial services and banking professionals with regulatory compliance experience and expertise for remote, project-based opportunities.
RESPONSIBILIES
- Provide second line advice and oversight to banks providing deposit and lending products to US consumers.
- Provide advice regarding new product and service development.
- Critically evaluate the business processes governing and organizational structure around the Compliance functions for a variety of banks and fintechs.
- Review compliance management systems (CMS) for a variety of banks and fintechs.
- Review, revise, and write compliance-related policies and procedures for a variety of banks and fintechs.
- Monitor compliance with consumer banking regulations including fair lending regulations and issue and complaint management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience within consumer banking, preferably at an entity subject to CFPB supervision.
- Experience in a consumer compliance position supporting financial products at a regulated financial institution.
- Extensive knowledge of banking regulatory compliance management system (CMS) elements, with product advisory and/or monitoring experience desirable.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong research, project management, organizational, analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager designation or Bank Examiner experience is a plus.
