About the role
SUMMARY
iFIT’s vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their individual fitness journey.
We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Staff Product Designerin Logan or Utah or remotely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work through problems, translating insights from research and analytics into concepts, interfaces, features, components, products, and solutions that drive the business forwardand empower our customers in their own journeys.
- Design detailed workflows, wireframes, and prototypes to rapidly assess the viability of ideas and potential directions or solutions.
- Seek out feedback from stakeholders to drive consensus and mine for purpose, working together to derive the optimal outcome, given the constraints and priorities.
- Collaborate with your fellow team members to further implement and maintain iFit’s design system and explore powerful visual solutions.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility of concepts and accuracy of execution.
- Communicate ideas, designs, and concepts—as well as their underlying rationale—clearly to team members through artifacts, such as site maps, journey maps, storyboards, prototypes, documentation, and storytelling.
- Execute both UX and UI, driving projects from start to finish
- Work cross-functionally with Brand and Marketing to continuously develop understanding of the end-to-end iFIT customer journey.
- Education and Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar design field
- 2+ years experience working with cross-functional teams to ship products and experiences that users love and derive value from
- Preferred Qualifications
- Have a growth mindset, passion for learning, and willingness to adapt and evolve
your own perspective when collaborating with teammates. - Tremendous UX and visual design skills with the ability to tell a story
- Understanding of activation & onboarding, metrics-inspired design, a plus
- Having the ability to think in terms of the user life cycle.
- Ability to take complicated workflows and elegantly streamline them
- Appreciation of the product development process, from problem-solving and
system modeling to detailed design systems, UI, visual, and interaction design - Ability to clearly articulate your concepts and evangelize on their behalf
- A willingness to own problems, comfort with ambiguity, a desire to make things
better, and a balanced sense of optimism and humility. - Experience with Figma or other similar applications
- Have a growth mindset, passion for learning, and willingness to adapt and evolve
