Job Description:

The Senior Production Control and Data Analyst plays a crucial role in handling a variety of tasks associated with maintaining ERP BOM and item master data, as well as planning, scheduling, and inventory management for the production and reconditioning of cosmetic-medical devices.
This role will involve analyzing capacity and providing insights to operations, engineering, sales, procurement, and FRC production, while also addressing labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other possible scheduling challenges.

What you’ll do:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collects, interprets and analyzes production data for production performance and gap analysis to determine the highest priority issue to resolve.

• Conducts data analysis to drive continuous process improvements.

• Plans and processes Work Orders in support of the production schedule.

• Identify and assess demand requirements to solve capacity or material constraints.

• Coordinates, develops, and updates capacity dashboards and generates production reports.

• Performs edits and maintains ERP BOM and item master data.

• Writes Manufacturing Work Instructions/procedures and trains personnel in FRC area as needed.

• Process Material Movement Forms and log/track as required.

• Oversee performance indicators for operational systems, determine the root cause of production challenges, and suggest corrective actions.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to know:

Experience/Skills/Education:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in working within a fully integrated MRP/ERP system, Master Control, Korber, Netsuite, or SAP with an emphasis on inventory, production, and warehouse processes.

• Experience in data cleaning, data prep, and data visualization for data analysis and reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Strong Analytical and Presentation skills, such as Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Spreadsheets, etc.

• Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to execute a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.

• Capable of overseeing various projects and handling conflicting priorities.

• Capable of engaging in critical thinking and problem-solving to develop innovative solutions to challenges in a live production setting while managing multiple concurrent issues.

• Supervisory experience is a plus.
