About the role
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies. Assists with Chef assigned meal prep duties as assigned.
SHIFTS: Part Time or Full Time available from 9am-7pm, holidays and weekends included
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operates dish washing machine to properly wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Maintains clean, sanitary, clutter free and safe environment in food services areas by sweeping, mopping and pressure washing floors, cleaning and sanitizing dish machine.
- Sets up and maintains dish and pot washing areas.
- Cleans production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
- Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Attends all in-services as required.
- Records and maintains documentation for the following measures for service standards and regulatory compliance.
- Manually records dish machine(s) temperatures and sanitizer strength
- Manually records pot and pan sink temperature and sanitizer strength
- Assists in receiving of food and non-food supplies.
- Assists with food prep tasks as directed by the Chef.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
