Laundry Tech - FT - 1st Shift (74093)

Hours: 7AM - 3:30PM

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a wide range of linen duties including sorting, folding, pulling and loading dryers, and distribution of linen items necessary to maintain specific par levels and linen supply requirements for all linen users of the Hamilton Medical Center and other duties as assigned. Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with company policy and procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but not required

Licensure: n/a

Experience: Hospital or institutional laundry experience preferred, but not required

Skills: n/a

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITION

Must be flexible to work the required rotating schedule. The work area is generally noisy and warm, and is subjected to the hazards

associated with such conditions existing within the laundry.

Constant amount of physical effort required, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and stooping. Must on your feet, walking or standing, for the entire shift.
