Responsible for the development and improvement of commercial processes and initiatives as defined by Sales leadership.This role develops, implements, improves and maintains policies, processes, workflows and protocols to ensure consistent, high quality execution of all commercial activities.
This individual collaborates with multiple cross-functional departments and associates in response to the desired evolution of Go-To-Market Strategy within the US Business; targeting actions essential to maintaining favorable outcomes related to financial performance, operational excellence, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to explore and implement streamlined and/or automated workflows and processes between Sales and other departments; striving to improve efficiency, productivity and overall responsiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
Identifies and implements continuous improvement efforts to aid improving the quality of sales effectiveness and consistency of sales execution efforts.
Analyzing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Generating reports that provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on sales performance, trends and opportunities.
Coordinates with other departments and functions to ensure Sales has the right tools, technology and strategy to achieve targeted goals.
Lead and mentor the sales operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Managing the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system, often Salesforce.com or a similar platform. This includes maintaining accurate customer data, and providing training and support to the sales team.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, training. marketing, finance, and executive leadership.
May serve on cross functional projects as requested to lead in the representation of the business unit.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a senior sales operations role with a track record of driving operational excellence. Animal health industry is preferred.
Experience working with CRM systems and other sales enablement technologies.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Well organized with demonstrated success in leading and managing multiple cross-functional projects.
Ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making at the executive level.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
