Job description Overview of the job    
The job holder will have accountability for leading the delivery of workforce planning practice and engaging with senior managers and staff at all grades to ensure WFP processes are embedded and delivered efficiently across SOCT.
Summary    
The job holder will be required to support the directorate in developing and embedding assurance processes for a large directorate and providing business assurance to the Executive Director.
Their primary responsibility will be to identify, implement, and support the delivery of effective and strategic workforce planning.

As a member of the senior management team, the post holder will be accountable for resource and change management and play a key role in audit and assurance processes. The role is non-operational, but the post holder may find previous operational or non-operational experience in establishing workforce planning process to be vital.
