MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA. This role is 100% on-site.
The Business Analyst is a subject matter expert and program leader responsible for analyzing organizational needs, managing complex initiatives, and driving significant improvements across the enterprise. This role blends hands-on analytical and staff support functions with strategic leadership to enhance business processes, ensure compliance, and guide programs within a specialized domain. Operating with increasing autonomy, the analyst will manage tasks ranging from policy development and IT audit support to leading major process re-engineering projects. This position requires deep expertise to manage projects, advise leadership, mentor team members, and ensure the successful alignment of programs with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Research and synthesize data from diverse sources to develop high-level reports, presentations, and actionable strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
Lead large-scale process development and re-engineering initiatives, utilizing performance metrics and data-driven measures to track organizational success and efficiency.
Develop and review strategic guidance, organizational policies, and performance assessments to ensure all initiatives remain strictly aligned with agency goals.
Serve as the primary Action Officer overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of complex initiatives, including resource management, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and test plan execution.
Provide specialized technical guidance in critical domains such as Records & Information Management (RIM), IT/Cybersecurity strategy, Enterprise Architecture, and Risk Management.
Direct IT audit activities and FISMA compliance reviews, managing evidence collection, tracking findings, and coordinating formal responses to ensure regulatory adherence.
Provide leadership and coordination for essential programs, including Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP), to ensure organizational resilience.
