MANTECH is seeking a customer-oriented Senior Aegis Systems Analyst to join our team working remotely. This is a remote position.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and oversee the execution of the IWS SPY-1 Readiness Pilot program

  • Apply subject matter expertise in SPY-1 and AEGIS Fleet Readiness and Sustainment across the AEGIS fleet and supporting warfare centers (NSWC PHD, NSWC Dahlgren, and NSWC Crane)

  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) mission area initiatives

  • Coordinate and communicate with all relevant stakeholders to include TYCOM, ISICs, SCSTC, RMCs, and the ISEA to monitor and track program completion

  • Engage directly and work with staff from the Surface Warfare enterprise (DESRON, SURFGRU, RMCs, Warfare Centers), TYCOM (CNSL & CNSP), and training commands (SCSTC / ATRC) at both the waterfront and staff levels

  • Prepare, present, and provide briefings and other materials for Flag, Senior Executive (O-7/SES) and 3-star level leadership to support decision-making

  • Translate complex engineering and readiness efforts into actionable task planning sheets and budget submissions

  • Travel up to 25%.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline

  • 20+ years of combined experience serving in the U.S. Navy and/or providing support to the Department of the Navy as a Federal Civilian employee or private contractor

  • Demonstrated Director-level management experience leading teams, setting strategic priorities, and delivering results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in a research discipline

  • U. S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) experience

  • Experience identifying and resolving complex organizational and operational problems

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active or current United States Government Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
