THE ROLE
As a member of the Collegiate Team Bussing program, the Director is primarily responsible for managing a team currently consisting of 6 members. This team is responsible for working with schools who don’t have on-site agents to secure their bus needs, accounting for bookings with schools who pay the bus company directly, and managing the collection of commissions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Ed Lane to manage our relationships with roughly 150 motor coach companies around the country.
- Work closely with Jim ‘O’Connor on communications with Regional Managers, On-Site Account Managers and our Preferred Motor Coach companies.
- Managing Direct Bill schools in ResDB. This consists of QCing each invoiced entry for correct amounts (both charter costs and commission amounts), correct bus company information and then attaching the bus company invoice to the SABRE invoice in TRAMS.
- On a two-year rotation, work with Kelsey Koncir to have each of our preferred bus companies renew their partnership agreement with Anthony Travel. This also involves making sure we have current insurance documents from each company.
- Help organize the motor coach portion of SOS each year.
Working Schedule
Must be adaptable with work schedule available to work extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrative negotiation and sales skills
- An understanding of revenue management, motor coach experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail
- Flexibility to deal with and adapt to changes
- Ability to manage many tasks at the same time
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal
Preferred Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Motorcoach industry experience
- SABRE reservation system knowledge
