Role

As a TM/Line In charge – you will be a part of Paint Shop department and will report to Section Head of Paint Shop .Your role will be:
Adherence of PQCDMS parameters of Shop and Managing day to day operation of Paint Shop.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key reponsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Technical skills
• Strong knowledge of Paint technology/ Chemical Expertise
• Familiarity with Paint process, chemistry and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of Paint robots, paint kitchen, Oven and maintenance best practices
• Knowledge of Robot – Paint programming.
• JIG & Fixture & die knowledge
• Production Planning, Scheduling and Manpower Management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using computer systems ( SAP/MS Office/PPT) for production tracking and reporting.
2. Product & process
• Process and product Audit
• Root cause analysis of Paint defect
• Taking Countermeasures of Paint defect outflow to customer
• Quality Strategy and Systems
• Inspection and Testing
• Continuous Improvement to control outflow of defects.
• focused on developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality control systems.
3. New model development
• Production Ramp-Up and Support with in schedule
• Handling and coordinating New Model activities
• Handling Robotic Paint applications
• Handling Paint booth maintenance Activities
• Process improvement initiatives with Process engineering
• Cross-Functional Collaboration for NPD
4. Manpower Handling
• Preparation of Skill matrix for operators
• Booth balancing as per day production target
• Forecast manpower requirements based on production.
• Onboard new employees ensuring they receive proper training and integration into the team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and Guide for improvement.
• Address performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.
• Conduct regular safety training and awareness programs.
5. Safety compliance and Norms
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate safety incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA standards, local codes, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, training, and incident report.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with welding processes, equipment, and materials.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and reduce workplace hazards.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• B. Tech or Diploma in Paint/Chemical Engineering

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Knowledge of various Painting, Paint chemistry & paint kitchen, stripe application,etc.
• Paint shop Production ,Ensuring Safety and Compliance, Paint Skill and troubleshooting correction, Managing People skill
• Knowledge of Painting equipment, tools, and maintenance best practices

• Drive for results, business acumen (operational knowledge)
