Senior Field Support Services Specialist

Responsibilities

Peraton is searching for a talented Field Support Services Specialist to become part of Peraton’s Citizens Security & Public Services.

 

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Monitor systems and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Resolve complex technical issues for various devices.
• Utilize Incident Management Tools for ticket management.
• Respond to remote support calls and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
• Address software deployments, patches, and antivirus issues.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft systems and Active Directory.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with additional advanced training; minimum of 3 years of experience.
• US Citizenship
• Proven track record as a Computer and Network Printer Repair Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and network configurations.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Experience in printer maintenance and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Printer+ certifications are advantageous.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
