The Team: This product line includes a large portfolio of corporate analytical models that enable a global team of Ratings Analysts to analyze, gain insight, score and contribute critical insights to our core Ratings process. With these products you will help our global team of Ratings Analysts, Methodology and Criteria specialists create world class ratings & research across more than 90 global economies enabling them to create and test hypothetical ‘what if’ credit-risk scenarios and perform a host of other critical analytical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in our strategic transformation from product to platform-centric software engineering practices while modernizing our technology stack and transitioning to agile development. These efforts are occurring within the broader context of major strategic initiatives build next-generation cloud-based software platforms.
- Lead fundamental software product, engineering roadmaps.
- Responsible to develop the Value Stream technology strategy, develop and maintain web and desktop applications, develop future state platforms, migrate legacy applications onto new platforms and have a forward looking view on innovative ways to improve developer efficiency.
- Responsible for the SDLC, technical design, development, QA, build systems, software deployment and cloud operations. Deliver with high Quality and increased velocity.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.
- Mentor and coach team members and first level managers globally and build high performance teams.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,200 - $200,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience
- Minimum 10+ years of work experience in Technology (application development and production support).
- Develop web and desktop applications using Java, JavaScript Frameworks, .Net Frameworks
- Strong knowledge of UI Frameworks
- Enterprise-level integrations using Kafka, REST, OKTA, etc.
- Database development on any relational DBMS , PostgreSQL, Oracle, and integrations with application services
- Application containerization, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services like S3, EKS, EC2 etc.
- Observability, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting using Splunk.
- Migration of Legacy applications to the latest technology.
- Lead and manage teams globally
- Domain knowledge in Financial Industry and Capital Markets is a plus.
