The Role and What You’ll Do:
As the Director, The Wall Group you will be responsible for:
Leadership
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement business strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead and track teamwide strategic initiatives, setting clear goals and measuring outcomes.
- Meet with managers to review billings, talent, and strategic goals, supporting their growth and accountability to success metrics.
- Collaborate with HR to build and lead a high-performing team of employees, setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, and creating a positive and engaging work culture.
Operational Excellence
- Partner with Operations to improve processes, provide feedback, ensure alignment, and hold Talent Managers accountable to agreed standards.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, to support the organization's financial goals in partnership with the finance division.
Employee Development & Management
- Partner with HR to effectively manage employee performance by engaging in open and constructive dialogues, addressing difficult situations, and determining appropriate escalation paths.
- Mentor employees and provide feedback for professional development.
Artist Management
- Support the agency in delivering to the short-term and long-term needs of artists on the roster.
- Support Talent Managers in signing new artist and ensure appropriate teams are included.
- Oversee contracts and representation agreements in partnership with Legal; oversee signing announcements.
- Communicate with Talent Managers on artist related issues and escalate for resolution.
