OnsiteThe Systems Integration Lab (SIL) Engineering Team desires to add a staff member that is a motivated team player with polished communication skills and an optimistic attitude. Some of the tasks this individual will be asked to embrace are summarized below.
What You Will Do:
Design system integration labs (SIL's), software development stations (SDS's), part task trainers (PTT's), break out boxes (BOB's), and analog interface circuitry (Op Amps).
Interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and hardware interface design documents for both design and trouble shooting tasks.
Support system engineering during I/O interface development and review.
Trouble shoot problems on SIL's, SDS's using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, navigation test sets, bus monitors, etc.
Support existing lab facilities and perform repairs as required, to include potential off-site support.
Support system test engineers by answering questions regarding the operation of the SIL.
Support 'A' kit development as required, based on SIL design.
Basic Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Fundamental engineering skills
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to receive/understand technical direction, meet assignment dates, and work with others in both an office and laboratory environment.
Ability to work within a structured process environment including a task oriented, value-based management system
Computer programming language experience
Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
