Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team. The PA will provide comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role is ideal for a practitioner dedicated to patient-centered care, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Position Responsibilities

Includes but is not limited to: 

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests

• Develop, implement, and manage patient-centered treatment plans for acute and chronic health conditions.

• Provide preventive care, including health screenings, immunizations, and counseling on lifestyle modifications.

• Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.

• Coordinate with specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and disease prevention.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational      policies.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and practice efficiency.

• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff and other healthcare team members.

Position Qualifications:

-Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

-Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

-Active and unrestricted PA license in NJ

-DEA & NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license 

-BLS certification required
