SECURITY ASSISTANT

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05/06) grade level or pay band (DG-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Performing security assistance or clerical duties within a Security Operations Center (SOC), emergency dispatch environment, or physical security program (e.g., monitoring surveillance systems, controlling facility access, tracking alarms, and operating communication equipment); (2) Proving capability to analyze incoming security information or incident reports, making timely operational determinations under established guidelines, and escalating critical issues to senior command authorities; (3) Acting as a shift lead, point of contact, or assistant supervisor to distribute work assignments, coordinating operational shift handoffs, and resolving scheduling conflicts during irregular or extended operational hours.
