Bio Nomic Services  About us: Bio-Nomic Services, a subsidiary of the Carylon Corporation, is an established environmental services company with an immediate need for an energetic, detailed oriented professional with interest and/or experience in environmental project management in the private or public sector.Job Description:Provide compliant, cost-effective land-base management and value-added environmental services which include land sourcing and permitting; nutrient management planning (NMP) and mapping; technical support for operational compliance and product use; logistics and source destination management; regulatory monitoring and reporting.Job Details: Position: Agriculture Field Specialist Location: Belmont, NC Pay: $55,000-$65,000/year (Negotiable based on experience)Full Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, ESOP  Job Duties:
  • Directly supervise employees.
 
  • Manage land-base inventory to meet operational requirements and provide strategic growth for the business 
 
  •  Prepare permit applications and NMP’s as needed for sites. This may include, but is not limited to: Soil and bio-solids sampling, analytical interpretation and waste characterization, geo-mapping services, interpretation of soil, tax and topographical maps; and applicable regulations to determine land base acceptability and compliant product use 
 
  • Coordinate all maintenance / equipment activities.
 
  • Successfully interface with environmental and regulatory agencies as well as generator and haulers to ensure efficiency processing and delivery of material.
  
  • Manage and track project monthly financials for area of responsibility. Make changes needed for improvement
 
  •  Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public as well as trade show. 
 QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4 year Agricultural or Environmental degree preferred.
 
  • Knowledge of bio-solids and other residuals management practices and regulations 
  
  • 2-3 years management experience.
 
  • Experience in agricultural or environmental industry required.
  • Must have computer skills and experience with Word, Excel.
 
  • Knowledge of OSHA and state/federal safety rules and regulations preferred.
 
  • Must be willing to travel 30%-50% of the time.
