These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety &amp; Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). With headquarters in Vienna, the company employs more than 2500 people worldwide, with subsidiaries, regional offices and representatives in over 50 countries. <br/>In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 250+ colleagues and is growing.<br/>You will work on a microservices based framework used across the company to run and integrate multiple Frequentis products. As a product owner you be responsible for the development of services, software packages and libraries to be used by other teams in the company. The product runs on RedHat 8/10, handles the deployment and configuration of the OS and supports the configuration and orchestration of services packaged as Docker images.<br/>We are developing for a safety critical environment, following industry standards, where high availability and redundancy is a basic requirement. Key Tasks <ul><li>Manage the development team backlog by owning specification (including acceptance criteria), clarification, prioritization and traceability of the backlog items for multiple subsystems.</li><li>Ensure alignment of the team backlog with the project backlog in terms of project priority and schedule through synchronization with the project management team and other Product Owners.</li><li>Actively manage the incoming problem reports affecting the services in your responsibility and support the lifecycle of multiple releases parallel.</li><li>Help drive the Requirements Engineering process for future releases, including requirements elicitation and elaboration.</li><li>Actively maintain an up-to-date overview of the standards and regulations driving the ATM domain, and guide team members to a better understanding of this domain.</li><li>Understand and maximize the business value of newly developed features.</li><li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels inside the company and closely collaborate with the Product Manager, System and Software Architects in order to adhere to development standards and deliver the required quality of the product</li><li>Promote and apply company and industry specific best practices and processes.</li><li>Provide input and support project management in defining schedules, priorities and estimates.</li><li>Raise risks and dependencies to the appropriate stakeholders.</li></ul> Key Qualifications <ul><li>Minimum 3 year of Product Owner experience; certification is an advantage</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with good English knowledge, both written and verbally</li><li>Experience in Agile Scrum methodology</li><li>Experience with Requirements Management software is an advantage</li><li>Exposure to large scale projects with interdependencies is an advantage</li></ul> Our Values Frequentis team is committed to creating a safer world with our innovative strength and technology orientation.
