Role Overview 

The Loss Prevention Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing physical security and shrink reduction programs within their location. The Loss Prevention Supervisor collaborates with operations and support teams to mitigate inventory shrinkage, manage the physical security of the site and protect bottom line throughout the location. The Loss Prevention Supervisor must demonstrate an ability to cultivate trust and confidence while influencing change through comprehensive risk assessments and shrink data analysis.

How you will make an impact

  • Foster a loss prevention rich environment that inspires a culture of commitment to shrink reduction
  • Influence, guide and make recommendations on loss prevention programs that do not hinder operations
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly LP metrics and reports
  • Keep safety a top priority and report any potential safety concerns or threats
  • Identify and evaluate areas that are causing or could lead to shrink or negatively impact the physical security of the building
  • Manage Loss prevention and security staff and assist in maintenance and coordination of physical security programs
  • Identify, promote and implement physical security best practices
  • Assist with inventory management to ensure integrity within location
  • Monitor behavior and report unusual activity
  • Develop and implement loss prevention programs and processes as needed
  • Utilize CCTV and exception reports to mitigate shrink
  • Participate in departmental projects across the network
  • Support orientation and training of new hires and athletes in new roles
  • Manage company established 5S standards for department specific areas
  • Conduct training and coach associates on work habits that comply with Fanatics policies
  • Manage all internal and external investigation programs targeting reduction of theft and fraud

 

What you bring to the team:

  • Possess a strong ability to self-manage, prioritize and use time management
  • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle crisis situations, recommend solutions in workplace violence and active threats
  • Experience with conflict management/resolution, team development and team building.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders
  • Ability to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays)
  • Proficient with Microsoft products
  • Attention to detail and organization skills

Where You’ll Work and What’s required:

  •  Minimum of 2 years’ experience at management level in managing security and loss prevention, including significant experience in a distribution environment; and/or within supply chain and/or express distribution and courier services
  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or 3-5 years’ work experience
  • Wicklander-Zulwaski certification preferred
  • LPQ/LPC preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently
  • May be expected to lift and reach
  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • May be expected to walk up to 10 miles per daily
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time for partner meetings, events, and other related activities.
