In 2021, Samsung announced a new facility in Taylor, Texas, where it plans to invest a minimum $17 billion in the build-out. The site spans 1,200+ acres and the first phase of development will have 4.7 million square feet of floor space consisting of a cluster of semiconductor manufacturing buildings such as a fab, office, parking garage, central utility building, and special utility supply facilities. The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance computing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

As a part of our internal assessment team, you will be working closely with the IT systems to help them build best in class operations by providing best practice compliance with regulating agencies and authorities. IT Security Auditor is responsible for conducting various security assessments such as Data Privacy, Information Security, DHS, Headquarters, physical security, etc. This position works closely with the other Security Assurance team members, IT Systems personnel, and other units to verify control standards, document findings, report, and follow up to help improve organizational and resource performance and creating a culture focused on increasing business value.

Specific Job Duties:

• Responsible for supporting our internal audit plan through the execution of information technology and security related audits including audit planning, stakeholder management and documentation, and validation of remediated audit findings.
• Develop audit reports on the effectiveness of the internal control structure for an executive level audience, ensuring reported findings are appropriately documented and properly supported.
• Manage and perform assigned investigations/audits/reviews as required and assist in the preparation of internal assessments/audit materials for the management.
• Responsible for tracking and evaluating the adequacy and timeliness of management's response and the corrective action taken on internal assessment/audit findings, including validation of remediation activities.
• Remain current and increase knowledge of regulatory requirements that impact the organization, as well as in the areas of internal control, technology, and security.
• Validate the effectiveness of control function by leading periodic control certifications for all documented controls.
