Job Summary:
Illuminate USA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations at our Columbus, Ohio manufacturing facility. This role will lead a team in managing the flow of materials or finished goods to support production efficiency, quality standards, and customer fulfillment. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for optimizing workflows, enforcing safety and compliance protocols, and ensuring proper inventory management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping as applicable.
- Manage warehouse personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in WMS and ERP systems.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies to maintain a secure work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with procurement, quality, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, cycle counts, and order accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, space utilization, and material handling.
- Conduct training programs for warehouse staff on best practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of fire safety, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety standards is a plus.
