Performs technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment.

Position Title:             Customer Service Engineer  

Hours:                         Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Summary of Duties:    Service Imaging Equipment needed in Southern California. Work in a field-based customer-facing role that installs, services, maintains, and modifies Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites. Support the Computed Tomography (CT) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) modality. 100% travel in Southern California required. Remote work permitted.

Qualifications:            The position requires an Associate’s degree in Computer Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Field Service Technician, Electronics Technician, or a related occupation.  Alternately, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as Field Service Technician, Electronics Technician, or a related occupation. The position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: Performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision; Experience establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers; Experience using electronic and mechanical test equipment. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. 100% travel in Southern California required. Remote work permitted.
