We are pleased to announce the opening for a Missile Defense Architecture and Requirements Engineer, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for Defining and evaluating Missile Defense System Trade capability space envelope, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and performing Missile Defense Architecture Trade Studies, analyzing candidate architecture options for cost, performance and schedule and down-selecting options based on results.
- Preparing and delivering briefings and supporting data in support of an Architecture Requirements Package (ARP).
- Assisting with identifying and defining missile defense architecture gaps, challenges, needs, opportunities, and potential system mitigations
- Supporting development efforts that provide architecture solutions in support of closure of Missile Defense System capability gaps.
- Coordinating with FFRDC and UARC partners on results and data for architecture trade studies through working group discussions; and documenting findings, assumptions, and tools used in trade study efforts.
- Providing regular input in support of government leadership to reports and weekly charts involving task status, action item tracking, risks, and schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- You must have a bachelor’s degree.
- You will need 7 years of full-time professional experience.
- You must possess or can obtain an active SECRET clearance.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Develop and review technical memorandum, white papers, and briefings supporting findings and conclusions of analyses.
- Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
- Working knowledge of Missile Defense System architecture and concepts
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MDSE) experience
- Working knowledge of CAMEO and/or Benchmark modeling systems or other MBSE software
