Position Summary
The Director position will manage all Clinical Affairs activities for the Anesthesia & Emergency Medicine (AEM) business unit and oversee the delivery of education and procedural training to internal and external customers to maximize clinical outcomes for patients. This position will focus exclusively on targeted strategies to engage in ideation and conceptualization, demonstrate, train, in-service, and promote the safe and effective use of AEM product portfolio. This individual will lead the Clinical Affairs team for the Americas and serve as a consultative resource for OUS regions. The Director, Clinical Affairs AEM will participate in the continual improvement of training programs through contributions to training materials for both internal and external customers.
Principal Responsibilities
• Manage a team to support clinical education programs in North America, focused on the safe and effective use of Teleflex’s focus medical devices from the AEM business unit.

• Participate in evaluation, development and refinement of training materials and programs in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to achieve high-quality work-product.
• Provide Off-label support for Teleflex products in accordance with Teleflex policy & local legal regulations.
• Oversee Clinical Affairs team for all HCP interactions in accordance with the HCP Engagement Policy
• Serve as part of the CMA clinical expert team on product applications and troubleshooting when interfacing with SBU Leadership and Teleflex team members.
• Keep current with relevant medical literature, clinical initiatives/guidelines, relevant societal and international committees, and industry trends and communicate with other appropriate departments.
• Takes on other roles and responsibilities that may be required in support of CMA Team.
• Perform field clinical trouble-shooting on the Company’s products by working with clinicians as required & in collaboration with the QA/RA teams.
• Serve as a member of the SBU leadership team.
• Direct all development of professional education and training for new product launches.
• Assist the R&D department as needed in gaining user feedback & clinical expertise.
• Takes on other roles and responsibilities that may be required in support of CMA Team.
• In collaboration with manager, develop and maintain annual master need assessment, educational support plan, and CMA budget for AEM portfolio initiatives.
• Manage Medical Education Grants for the SBU
• Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex Medical’s Code of Conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelors’ Degree required, preferably in clinical, health sciences. Acceptable credentials include RN/BSN, APRN, PA, RT.
