Payroll Functional Consultant - Europe RegionJob DescriptionResponsible for documenting the customer requirements, reviewing the proposed architecture and work in the project requirement and/ or support in order to offer the best possible solution that satisfies the customer necessities, considering the functionality of the standard solution. They are involved in the different tasks of the application implementation cycle and the improvement projects (design, configuration and programming, tests…) guaranteeing at all times the correct application performance and an optimum performance level.Responsibilities In addition to the tasks common to all STRADA employees, the specific tasks for this position are: 

• Adherence to the definition of the necessary data structures, on the basis of the data model, as well as diagrams of the applications flow, ensuring that they respond to the client’s requirements.
• Participate in the development of the application following the standard methodology defined according to the corporate standards (ePIM, Work Package, Tracking tool) or required for special needs under previous confirmation of the supervisor
• Implement the solution in different environments (development, test and production)
• Generate error-free code and easy to maintain in accordance with the general guidelines of STRADA
• Integrated testing of complex applications
• Solve complex problems related to the technical environment of the application
• Provides the necessary technical support to the other members
• Knows the people that are a source of knowledge and ensure their effective collaboration
• Identify patterns or non-obvious relations in complex situations
• Take advantage of opportunities to increase knowledge and self-development

  Required Skills: 

• SAP Payroll Configuration: Deep knowledge of payroll schemas, PCRs, Wage Types, and tax configuration.
• Module Integration: Strong understanding of integration between Payroll, Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management (PT).
• Compliance & Reporting: Knowledge of country-specific payroll regulations, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Data Migration & Tools: Proficiency in LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) for data loading.
• Testing & Support: Conducting Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing payroll incident resolution
• Business Analysis: Mapping business processes to SAP standard functionalities and conducting fit-gap analysis.
• Documentation: Creating configuration workbooks, functional specifications, and user manuals.
• Solution Design: Ability to translate user requirements into technical specs for ABAP developers
• Communication: Effective communication with stakeholders to explain complex payroll/technical issues.
• Analytical Thinking: Problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies
