Maintenance Supervisor

As our next Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance staff with different skills to execute the maintenance aspects of our Tucker, GA facility. This position requires a dedicated and conscientious individual who has worked in a team driven and employee empowered facility. Position Summary

You will lead maintenance scheduling and planning of preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown response for our tools, equipment, Corbion personnel and subcontractors. You will develop and execute preventative maintenance (PM) plans in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring standard operation procedures (SOP) compliant issuance and completion of work orders. You will also create and refine SOPs and work instructions (WI) to optimize maintenance efficiency.

Beyond maintenance logistics, you will champion our safety culture and drive Behavior Based Safety (BBS) initiatives. Collaborating closely with operations, EHS, engineering, and quality teams, you will oversee maintenance and spare parts programs, leveraging Management of Change (MOC) processes to enhance continuous improvement and resolve equipment-related challenges.

 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance staff to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements in the performance of maintenance activities. Work with the mechanics to execute PMs, emergency maintenance repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
• Review incoming work orders, identification of scope and analysis of required level of planning.  Create and update work order schedules in conjunction with internal concerned parties, outside contractors and site management guidance on priorities.
• Develop job plans for spot or new work orders.  Determine job materials, expectations and requirements; including tools, manpower, and outsourced equipment. Develop, and update as required, job plans for preventative/repetitive work orders.
• Communicate with contracted resources directly on specific work orders assigned to contractors with regard to schedule, job and/or site work rules and safety implications, and performance expectations of the work order.
• Conduct post job completion assessment to ensure expectations were met.
• Coordinate with area management to ensure equipment and area availability, Lock Out Tag Out Try Out (LOTOTO), and work permitting as required to facilitate efficient utilization of maintenance resources.
• Collaborate with procurement for purchase of materials and contractors. May assist on identifying sources for parts, materials, contractors, and soliciting quotes where applicable.
• Serve as the maintenance representative for new capital projects responsible for updating the AssetWise/SAP system (CMMS) with regard to new equipment, Bill of Materials (BOM's), PM schedules and plans, spare parts, etc.
• Collaborate with reliability maintenance resources within the Global Maintenance Platform on improvement projects related to proactive maintenance and the use of AssetWise/SAP for managing all maintenance related activities.
• Coordinate with operations personnel and others as applicable and provide substantive guidance in finding the solution to more profound malfunction problems (troubleshooting) with regards to production and utility installations.
• Lead or participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and/or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) teams as applicable.
• Create and revise maintenance related SOP's, WI, and updates the CMMS systems as applicable for the Tucker site operations.
