Senior SDN Engineer - Cloud

What You’ll Do

• Help scale Lambda’s high performance cloud network
• Contribute to the reproducible automation of network configuration
• Design, implement, and manage customer software defined networks
• Help manage Spine and Leaf networks

You

• Have led implementation of production-scale Software Defined Networks (SDN)
• Have deep knowledge of networking fundamentals such as IPv4, IPv6, VLANs, etc.
• Are good at security
• Have experience with Spine and Leaf (Clos) network topology
• Have extensive experience building hybrid cloud networks
• Have python programming experience
• Deeply understand the Linux networking stack

Nice to Have

• Experience building and maintaining multi-data center networks
• Experience with SR-IOV and DPDK
• Experience managing BGP
• Experience with HPC networking, such as Infiniband
• Experience automating network configuration within public clouds, with tools like Terraform
