Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.</p><p></p><p><b>Role Overview:</b></p><p><br/>This position is for a senior contract professional recognized as an expert in contracting. Manages complex contracts and directs work product of less experienced contract professionals. Implements business strategy in conjunction with legal and regulatory processes. Communicates and influences senior function leaders regarding matters of significant importance. Assists the improvement of department processes through the application of deep knowledge and experience in the contracts function.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do: </b></p><ul><li>Leads the drafting, generation, interpretation and management of highly complex proposals and contracts, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, to ensure these proposals and contracts properly reflect business objectives.</li><li>Collaborates with the Integrated Program Team to coordinate input during the proposal and contract process.</li><li>Manages the analysis and preparation of contract documentation to ensure they are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.</li><li>Coaches and mentors junior professionals and reviews their work to ensure output is of quality and in accordance with business objectives.</li><li>Leads proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contract activities to ensure contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.</li><li>Advises the organization on issues concerning contract matters.</li><li>Assists leadership on training employees to ensure understanding of and adherence to contract law related to the business.</li><li>Maintains historical contract records.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications You Must Have:</b></p><ul><li>Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience </li><li>Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security <span>investigation/reinstatement</span> and must meet eligibility requirements </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications We Prefer: </b></p><ul><li>Master of Business Administration or Juris Doctorate</li><li>Extensive experience with U.S. Government contracts, including FAR and DFARS</li><li>Currently (or within the last 24months) hold a United States Government Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance</li></ul><p></p><p><span>Do you want to be a part of something bigger?
