Sr. Mgr., Portfolio Management ($120,000 - $173,700)

Position Summary:

The Portfolio Management group is responsible for collaborating across the Apartment Division to identify financial performance improvements through understanding, analyzing and assessing the financial impact of operating activities and recommending actionable operational change.

Job Duties:

• Provide P&L oversight for a geographically aligned portfolio
• Perform property-level annual budgeting
• Provide regular feedback to Revenue Management on current market conditions
• Facilitate monthly financial reviews at the Portfolio and sub-market level
• Understand onsite operations through ongoing site visits and interaction with Community Management, the Customer Resource Center and Maintenance Operations.
• Partner with Community Management to perform periodic assessments of premium/amenity pricing
• Perform monthly short-term revenue forecasting
• In addition to a portfolio, provide analytical support to a functional group (i.e. Maintenance, Marketing, Corporate Housing) as assigned
• Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

• 4+ years Financial analysis experience; Real estate experience a plus
• BA in Finance-related field or MBA preferred
• Self-motivated and highly organized team player with keen attention to detail
• Business acumen
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work independently
• Superior communication and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with co-workers across a variety of disciplines.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel, including strong modeling capability

 Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $173,700.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
