About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Distribution & Order Management to join our leadership team. In this critical role, you will drive the optimization of our supply chain and order management systems. This position combines strategic oversight of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and system integrations to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall delivery performance.
The Senior Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of systems, improve order accuracy and fulfillment speed, and align logistics strategies with the broader business goals. You will lead cross-functional projects aimed at automating and optimizing workflows, ensuring that technology and operational strategies support the company's growth objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead Cross-Functional Projects & Technology Integration: Oversee and drive key initiatives that combine logistics, order management, and technology integration. Lead efforts to implement or enhance systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, WMS) and ensure smooth integration between order management platforms, fulfillment systems, and transportation systems. You will work closely with IT and operations teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Optimize Order Management Systems: Take ownership of the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring that order management systems (OMS) are fully integrated with other operational tools and platforms. Lead efforts to reduce order cycle times, improve order accuracy, and ensure timely fulfillment. Implement best practices in order processing, from order creation to invoicing, with a strong focus on seamless system-to-system communication (e.g., EDI/API integration) and real-time data exchange.
- Strategic Supply Chain Performance Optimization: Leverage data and technology to monitor, assess, and optimize supply chain performance, with a particular focus on how order management and fulfillment interact. Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the order flow, recommending technology-driven solutions to resolve these issues. Drive automation and process improvements that increase throughput while minimizing costs.
- Manage Logistics Operations and Fulfillment: In partnership with other stakeholders, ensure efficient and effective logistics and fulfillment processes, with a focus on maintaining high service levels and ensuring timely delivery. Identify and resolve issues related to order fulfillment, shipment delays, or inventory imbalances.
- Financial Leadership & Technology ROI Analysis: Lead financial analysis of logistics and order management technology investments, assessing the ROI of system upgrades, new software, or automation solutions. Develop and present business cases to senior leadership that justify investments in technology and operational improvements, ensuring they align with both short-term and long-term company goals.
- Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to a team of logistics and order management professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by championing the use of technology, data, and process optimization to meet evolving business demands.
