Job Summary
The Clinical Agent is responsible for assisting Sanitas patients with clinical and administrative needs related to services offered through the Sanitas App.
Essential Job Functions

- Responsible for supporting patient services through digital channels.
- Utilizing digital channels to guide and support patients' needs.
- Assist, educate, and navigate patients in the Sanitas application.
- Understand patients' needs and assist in the guiding and/or resolution of needs within virtual channels or platform functionalities.
- Respond to patients' communications regarding clinical and operational needs. When applicable, route to providers or other services based on needs.
- Understand patients' needs and assist in the guiding and/or resolution of needs within our ecosystem of patient services.
- Assist providers with any clinical support through digital service channels.
- Partake in tele-visits to assist providers with necessary clinical processes.
- Support providers’ needs to ensure patients' needs are met.
- Take appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to work safety protocols and processes.
- Outstanding customer service and solves patients' inquiries.
- Meet service standards and understand processes and organization to identify the best path for resolution of patient needs.
- Complete knowledge of flow and functionality of virtual platforms, digital services and organization ecosystem.
- Understand patients' needs and assist in the guiding and/or resolution of needs within our ecosystem of patient services.
- Complete clinical processes during visits.
- Follow processes to complete MA clinical portions of patient visits.
- Complete MA part and provider needs to meet and resolve patient visits.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information adhering to HIPAA.
- Interact with patients' health information within EMR and safeguard it following company policies and standards.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Support the team with any relevant task required.
- Positively impact team performance and resolve departmental needs.
Qualifications
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Education
- High School graduate or equivalent.
Required Experience
- 1-2 years of healthcare/medical assistant experience.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Medical Assistant National Certification or Diploma.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent grammar and spelling.
- Able to rotate nights, weekends, holidays, and shifts according to company needs.
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- ECW experience preferred.
- Telehealth experience preferred.
- Foreign Physician experience preferred.
