About the role

Imagen enables Primary Care providers to become technology-enabled multispecialty practices, powering a successful transition from fee-for-service to value-based care. Imagen’s comprehensive platform includes in-office diagnostic testing, diagnostic interpretations powered by proprietary FDA-cleared machine learning software, and virtual specialist consults. Imagen’s team includes over 120 clinical, technical and business personnel. Imagen’s software has received first-of-its-kind FDA clearances, and its research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals. Imagen has raised $135 million in capital from investors such as Google Ventures, Casdin Capital, and Threshold Ventures. Imagen was founded in 2015 and is based in New York City.

We are looking for someone who is excited and motivated to partner with doctors and enable technology to support them as they deliver high quality patient care. The Systems Administrator role focuses on all aspects of enabling technology to meet the needs of the users and the clinical workflow.

Success Criteria

A successful future team member will:

  • Analyze and document workflows – identify inefficiencies and propose solutions – and then be able to manage the communication and change process with all levels of the organization.
  • Have (or quickly be able to learn) an in-depth understanding and expertise of all aspects of the systems and their intended workflow.
  • Search for any opportunity to make the solution better, no matter how small the change if the improvement can be quantified and measured.
  • Have an “all-hands on deck”, “how can I help” attitude in every customer and team situation.
  • Make it their personal mission to enable the success of the team through their efforts
  • Break down complex concepts for easy end-user comprehension and be able to document and communicate to all affected parties effectively and professionally.
  • Document and Implement Training Modules – person to person, webinar and automated
  • Be excited to try new things, test theories, and prove ideas regardless of the work involved.
  • Be comfortable with a growing company and constant change.
  • Speak up when it matters to the patient, the service or the company.
  • Not be afraid to act responsibly fast, sometimes fail, learn from the experience, adapt and try something else until the issue is resolved.
  • Welcome ideas and constructive criticism when offered with the goal of improving their efforts and outcomes to meet the objectives of the business.
  • Be a self-starter, not waiting to be told that something needs to be done, always seeking opportunities to provide value to the team.
  • Have strong attention to detail and follow-through on commitments.

As the Systems Administrator, you will (responsibilities)...

  • Server as the subject matter expert for the PACS platform and be responsible for the overall management to include the day to day administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Support the specialists and the systems being used by them to provide their service with maximum uptime and efficiency as needed
  • Troubleshoot and identify issues and then drive them to resolution in coordination with the team, vendors and/or customers
  • Support the customer and specialists’ on-boarding process
  • Ensure on-going system integration and proper data flow
  • Provide application-level support as needed
  • Monitor systems performance as it relates to overall operation and network performance to minimize slowdowns and downtime
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot PACS and associated devices and software
  • Ownership for creation and documentation of processes within assigned area
  • Identify any inefficiencies in end-to-end workflow from scheduling to billing
  • Interact with solution vendors as needed to ensure optimal solution operation
  • Document and resolve issues reported by users in a timely manner
  • Participate in team on-call rotations

You will love this job if (requirements)...
