Act as a strategic thought-leadership role requiring strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities to drive sizable, complex, cross functional results. Grocery is comprised of Food & Consumables and is the largest business segment in Walmart US.

Supporting the Grocery business, along with being the Finance & Strategy lead for Private Brands, the role requires a broad understanding across the entire business to enable input into all major financial decisions and will often be required to work cross-functionally on multiple types of projects.

The ability to understand business trends, foresee financial opportunities and risks, and effectively influence business results is an important part of the everyday. If you love diving into the numbers to drive a high-growth, dynamic business, this is the role for you!

Leading Robust Analytics – Break down your business into analytical building blocks and assess current and future key levers of growth, identifying new opportunities for growth and cross-business linkages

Recommending Disruptive Strategies – Lead framing, developing and managing complex, data driven, impact-oriented analysis to build out recommendation for strategic growth areas and priorities

Providing Actionable Insights – Leveraging data to facilitate consensus about financial decisions across departments in the business unit

Being A Trusted Advisor – Develop strong and trusting relationships with internal teams. Serve as the go-to for analytics – working across the organization to solve issues, address pain points and implement growth initiatives.
