CSCS TXAs an Accounting Automation Analyst, you will work collaboratively within a team to ensure the successful completion of both company and client objectives at the project level. The successful candidate will also be responsible for UAT and stress testing tools, documenting processes, updating and maintaining existing tools, and assisting with minor projects as needed.
Job Functions
- Design and develop automation systems within a team, with a specific focus on entry-level tasks.
- Contribute to project design, development, testing, installation, commissioning, project closure, and inspections/reporting, including:
- Run sample data through tools, document discrepancies, and monitor data reconciliation. Maintain and update existing tools, including queries and data flows.
- Create comprehensive process documentation, including data sources, flows, and decision trees. Develop walkthrough videos and provide tool usage training. Facilitate the creation of "how-to" documentation.
- Perform data cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage time and expenses within the allotted project budget.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, especially during sensitive situations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics) or accounting degree with relevant coursework or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and an ability to identify data discrepancies.
- Familiarity with user acceptance testing (UAT) and stress testing processes.
- Demonstrated interest and ability in a programming language or similar technical systems.
