About this position
As a member of the II Growth Strategy team, the Project Coordinator role supports critical change efforts to optimize the go-to-market (GTM) process with the Growth Program. The Individual Investor organization manages over $200B in client assets and serves 1.4 million investors. In support of the growth strategy for II, this role will support the development and implementation of business processes for all GTM activities, assist in building governance requirements, and play a critical role within cross-functional project teams. The position requires high engagement, resourcefulness, curiosity, and continuous learning to identify and support improvement opportunities for growth. The role supports many high-profile initiatives and will entail ongoing engagement with senior stakeholders.
Role Summary
Works with cross-functional teams to execute multi-channel marketing plans that position our product and value-added offers as differentiated solutions for our clients. These plans address the needs of prospects and clients including institutions, intermediaries, and end investors. Responsible for assessing marketing impact and adjusting tactics as needed. Assists in the implementation plans and processes according to Segment Marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Executes components of multichannel marketing plans aligned to specific populations of prospects and clients. Makes recommendations on specific media and promotional channels to be employed to best promote supported products and services and drive targeted audience engagement.
- Supports internal and external elements necessary to the successful execution of segment marketing plans, including working with necessary internal marketing and distribution partners, ensuring all legal and compliance obligations are satisfied, and sharing all necessary content with external partners for review and approval.
- Measures success and impact of channel and segment marketing plans by monitoring key performance indicators to inform future development of programs. May provide recommendations on additional key performance indicators, benchmarks, and tactical marketing plan adjustments.
Typical Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 2+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of total relevant work experience
- Experience in retail (B2C) Financial Services industry a plus
- Preferred experience in a consultant and/or strategic planning role
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and creatively
- Experience in assisting in the development of business cases and influencing change initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills - Works well in a collaborative, team-based environment, and capable of creating strong partnerships across business areas
- Self-directed and results oriented with proven abilities to take initiative while delivering timely results
- Strong organizational skills; ability to successfully support multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective presentation and influencing skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to navigate across organizations and gaining buy-in for the initiatives you are supporting
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of functional areas: Advisory, Sales, Marketing, Client Experience, and Shared Services
