The position
As our Shutdown Project Coordinator, you'll have a unique chance to independently plan shutdown tasks and activities, helping to define your own role. You will be in charge of spearheading the planning, coordination, and execution of factory shutdowns, overseeing the activities. Your role involves navigating a diverse stakeholder landscape, including activity owners, project managers, factory management, and specialists, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Prioritize shutdown tasks, requirements, and dependencies.
- Plan shutdown involving and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Maintain strategic oversight across all shutdown activities.
- Strategically manage shutdown timing and duration, acting as a trusted partner to the management group.
- Oversee execution, ensure adherence to schedule, coordinate adjustments, and evaluate for optimization.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine that you demonstrate the following characteristics:
- An academic degree in engineering, project management, or another relevant field.
- Some experience in project coordination with the ability to work in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Furthermore, you have a structured approach to work, ability to prioritize amidst diverse tasks.
As a person, you are proactive, and solution-oriented, thriving in complex organizations. You work independently, handle challenges effectively, and maintain a positive, outgoing attitude. With a systematic approach, you manage tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to change when necessary.
About the department
You will join our Project department in M1 (Manufacturing 1), which is part of the rapidly growing PS API area (Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient). M1 is a production area, with a total of 600 employees in Kalundborg, where we produce our newest GLP-1 products. You will become part of a high-performing Project Management Office (PMO) team that consists of project managers, project assistants, engineers, and technical professionals. Together, we are responsible for the execution of investment projects, in a complex, constantly changing and highly regulated pharmaceutical area. Our purpose is to make a change in M1, by driving small and large-scale projects that improve the quality of facilities and processes and increase our production capacity.
