<p><strong>Senior IoT Developer – Ireckon CIty</strong></p> <p>IreckonCity is a subsidiary of Ireckonu that focuses around, the creation of IoT hosted solutions that help cities modernise their existing water infrastructure.</p> <p>At IreckonCity we believe that technology and data can make our lives easier. </p> <p>In order for municipalities and water authorities to proactively manage their networks; they need accurate, real-time data. In addition, they need the tools and technology to correctly analyse, synthesize and process this data to make adjustments relating to capacity utilisation as well as to optimise maintenance and servicing. </p> <p>Most of our software solutions focus on the reduction of water loss and leakage in clean water networks. At Ireckon City, we’ve focused on developing products and solutions mostly for wastewater systems. To this end, we are developing products such as iPredict, iRecognize and iRing for cities across the Netherlands and beyond. </p> <p> We are looking for a senior developer to help spearhead the development of the platform that will facilitate the data reporting of this network of IoT devices for municipalities across the world. Passion for IoT technologies and a desire to help society to operate more effectively with the power of software is a non-negotiable! <br/> <br/> </p> <p><strong>About You </strong></p> <p>Ideally, you'll have 5+ years of commercial software development experience and will live and breathe SOLID Design Principles. We love to work with developers who have experience with enterprise-scale applications, with complex data models. You do not like to do things manually more than once, we love to automate! Additionally, experience working in parallel data environments would be a huge bonus. Most importantly, you collaborate well with other team members and stakeholders from a vast array of cultures and backgrounds. We value diversity for the range of unique perspectives it gives our ability to solve complex problems and innovate. </p> <p><strong>Our Stack</strong></p> <p>C# (if you've used other OO languages, we'd still love to hear from you!)</p> <p>Entity Framework</p> <p>.Net Core + and/or .Net Framework 4.7+ </p> <p>Azure cloud platform (Apps, databases, services, etc.), </p> <p>Docker, Kubernetes would be a great plus! </p> <p>MongoDB (is a plus) </p> <p>MQTT (and other IoT related experience)</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build reusable code and libraries for future use</li> <li>Optimize fully abstracted applications for maximum speed and scalability both on premise and on Azure</li> <li>Continuously look for ways to improve Ireckonu and our product suite by implementing A/B tests</li> <li>Develop new modules on existing platforms</li> <li>Design the implementation of new complex modules</li> <li>Operate as 2nd line support on modules you have built</li> <li>Create specifications and define sprints with PMs and customers</li> <li>Mentor Junior Engineers through formal and informal discussions, code reviews, design reviews, technical presentations, or as a consultant on projects</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>What IreckonU Offers</strong></p> <p>When you join IreckonU, you will be working in a forward thinking, flat organization with a family-oriented support system.
