CDL Delivery Driver/ Yard

Monument Roofing, A Tecta America Company, LLC IS seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Driver/ Yard Worker to join our team.The ideal candidate will play a role in maintaining and managing yard activities, including loading and unloading freight, operating various types of vehicles, while ensuring a safe work environment. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Duties

• Operate various types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks for yard operations.
• Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with route driving as required to support delivery operations.
• Utilize forklifts for moving materials within the yard safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience is preferred
• Clean driving record.
• Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities is a plus.
• Forklift experience required (certificate preferred)
• Knowledge of handling flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Working Conditions:Physical surroundings: Field and warehouse environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.Physical Effort: Walking, turning, stooping and reaching for and carrying materials, stepping over and around obstacles, climbing ladders and scaffolding.  Ability to lift over 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis.  Must hear well enough to understand oral directions.  Must see to read forms, labels, directions, prints, and specifications.Travel: Report to same home office - travel will be from job site to job site daily.Hours: Subject to overtime  Tecta America is an EEO employer.
